One of the tools in my digital photo bag come from the brilliant Visual Supply Company. They started off about ten years ago, re-creating film camera presets for Adobe Lightroom, and have grown into its ecosystem. While they are no longer offering presets for Lightroom, they do offer a place where you can create photos and video, discover others and connect with photographers. This is something no one else does including Flickr, SmugMug and Instagram.

A few of the offerings from VSCO include:

200+ VSCO presets including vintage film looks by Kodak, Agfa, and Ilford

Advanced photo editing tools

Video editing tools, presets

Make a moving collage by layering videos, images, and shapes

Weekly photo challenges- great for inspiration and trying something new

Connect with other photographers

Your own VSCO profile page on the web

iPhone, iPad apps.

Film Emulation

As far I know, no other software company has done more to preserve and present real analog film presets. Their engineering team has gone to great lengths in shooting real film and then turn around and offer to VSCO users in the form of presets (filters, if you must.)
